This Biennial will be the last to take place in the Whitney Museum of American Art’s building at 945 Madison Avenue at 75th Street before the Museum moves downtown to its new building in the Spring of 2015. March 7 – May 25.

The Armory Show, a leading international contemporary and modern art fair and one of the most important annual art events in New York, takes place every March on Piers 92 & 94 in central Manhattan. The Armory Show is devoted to showcasing the most important artworks of the 20th and 21st centuries. March 6 – March 9.

VOLTA NY is an invitational show of emerging solo artists’ projects and the American incarnation of the successful young fair founded in Basel in 2005. VOLTA NY was conceived in 2008 by Artistic Director Amanda Coulson as a tightly-focused, boutique event that is a place for discovery, a showcase for relevant art contemporary positions regardless of the artist’s or gallery’s age. SCOPE Art Show returns to landmark venue, Skylight at Moynihan Station, for its 14th New York edition. Located within the iconic New York City Post Office, SCOPE moves to the main hall, transforming the Postal Dock with its 30-foot vaulted glass ceiling into a dynamic exhibition of 60 international galleries alongside 20 Breeder Program galleries. Hailing from 22 countries, SCOPE exhibitors represent the best and brightest contemporary work from emerging and mid-career artists. March 6 – March 9.

Rendez-Vous with French Cinema is a co-presentation of the Film Society of Lincoln Center and uniFrance Films in association with BAMcinématek and IFC Center. The 19th annual edition of Rendez-Vous with French Cinema celebrates the best in contemporary French filmmaking, including special appearances by Catherine Deneuve, Michel Gondry, Jacques Doillon, François Ozon, and more.  March 7 – March 10.

Beyond Bollywood is a groundbreaking exhibition at the National Museum of Natural History from February 27, 2014 – August 15, 2015.
